The Omega Royal Maids represent the Krewe of Omega at events and functions throughout the parish, encouraging the community to participate in our Krewe by membership, sponsorship or attendance at our parade. The Maid along with our King, Queen and Royal Princesses & Escorts spread the spirit of Mardi Gras wherever they go. The Royal Maid Court is open to adult women members ages 18+ and welcomes new members to participate.
Representing purple, is Mardi Gras Maid Alyssa Rock Triana. Alyssa is recently married to husband, Robert Triana, and together with their dog "Remi" reside in Hammond, LA. Alyssa is a three year member of the Krewe and rides on the McKnight Pirate float. Joining the Krewe at the age of 24, she had the distinction of being our youngest member at the time of being a maid. The love for the Krewe of Omega runs deep in her family, as her mother Julie is a member of the Krewe and her brother Maison has served on the Royal Court.
Representing gold, is Mardi Gras Maid Bobbie Bickford. Bobbie has been a member with the Krewe of Omega for over 20 years and rides on the McKnight float. She was married to the late Jessie Wayne Bickford and is the proud mother of three children and six grandchildren. Bobbie is the retired owner of Friendship Florist in Albany. Her passions include spending time with her grandbabies, sewing, crafting, cake decorating, and traveling.
Representing green, and serve as an inaugural maid alongside her daughter, is Mardi Gras Maid Julie Rock-Chatellier. A resident of Hammond, Julie is a six year member of the krewe and rides on the McKnight Pirate float. Julie serves on the Board of Directors and is our Social Media & Royal Maid Chairperson. Julie is the the proud mother of four adult children. She is the Vice President of Human Resources at a national insurance adjusting company based in Hammond. In her very limited spare time, Julie enjoys cruising with her children and friends and traveling.
