The Krewe of Omega is a co-ed Mardi Gras organization committed to providing the citizens of Tangipahoa Parish and the surrounding areas with a traditional New Orleans Mardi Gras experience, in a family-friendly atmosphere, for people of all ages. A social club that is active year-round, we are dedicated to our community, and members can often be found volunteering to help with various community improvement projects the Krewe supports. 

Full Membership Includes:

1. Float position in the Mardi Gras parade
2. Rider Insurance
3. Use of a parade costume (property of Krewe – hat not included)
4. One (1) admission to King & Queen Royalty Party
5. Participation in free member-only events sponsored by the Krewe.
6. Participation in Coronation, Twelfth Night Celebration, and Royal Ball at discounted ticket price.

Membership Requirements:

1. All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
2. Applications for membership will not be processed without receipt of the fully executed application. That is both the completed application and payment according to payment plan chosen.
3. The annual dues are not transferable or refundable. NO EXCEPTIONS.
4. Member agrees to adhere to all rules and regulations as established by the board of directors and officers regarding attendance, conduct and dress code for all Krewe sponsored activities. The rules will be available to each member prior to each of these events. Should the City and/or Parish Government pass any ordinances pertinent to the Krewe and/or its Parade, Omega will enforce the ordinance accordingly.
5. Omega has a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to bullying and harassment. Bullying and harassment may be in the form of verbal, physical, gesture, exclusion, or social media. Anyone found guilty of bullying or harassing anyone, for any reason, may be removed from the krewe. 

The Krewe of Omega prohibits discrimination against any person on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, age, national or cultural origin or ancestry, marital status, parental status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, health status, political affiliation, or occupation. Omega is committed to maintaining a community that recognizes and values the inherent worth and dignity of every person; fosters tolerance, sensitivity, understanding, and mutual respect among its members; and encourages each individual to strive to reach his or her own potential.

Omega as a whole will not make any public statements or engage in any public acts that are directed negatively towards any other Mardi Gras organization. The Krewe encourages all members to resist the urge to make any statements through any of the various social media platforms that are likely to become public and shed a negative light on the Krewe of Omega.
